For parents

What your kid is doing here, what they are quietly learning, and how the safety works.

What is VibeKid?

VibeKid turns words into games. Your child describes the game they imagine — “a space game where my cat dodges asteroids” — and watches AI build it in the browser, in about a minute. No installs, no code to read. Every game gets its own link, so family and friends can play free.

Vibe coding is prompt-engineering practice

Making a game with words feels like play, but it drills the core skill of working with AI: saying exactly what you mean. Every round runs the same loop professional prompt engineers use:

That loop — describe, test, refine — is AI prompt engineering, learned the way kids learn best: by playing.

Make educational games for your child

Parents can vibe-code too — and it is a quietly powerful way to build practice material that actually lands, because it is about your child:

Each takes about a minute to make, costs nothing, and lives at a link you can open on any device — no app store, no account for your child. How making works →

What it costs

Nothing to play, nothing to start making. Free accounts refill to 50 coins every day, and coins only ever power making — never playing. There are no ads anywhere, and no game on VibeKid charges to play. If your child ever wants more coins than the daily refill, they ask you, and you pay on Stripe’s own page, on your own device — there is no payment UI for kids.

How we keep it safe

Questions parents ask

Is VibeKid really free?

Yes. Playing is always free, and making is free to start — free accounts refill to 50 coins every day, and coins only ever power making, never playing. There are no ads anywhere, and no game on VibeKid charges to play.

Does my child share any personal information?

No. We never ask kids for their name, age, or email — a maker signs in with four secret words they pick themselves. An optional grown-up email (in Settings) exists only for account recovery.

Who checks the games kids can play here?

Every game is tagged automatically by AI, anything mature is hidden from signed-out visitors, and visitor comments are never shown raw — an AI screener turns them into short, kind summaries. No person reviews games before they appear, so if something slips through, email hello@vibekid.ai and we will remove it.

Can my child spend money on VibeKid?

Not on their own. There is no payment UI for kids: if your child ever wants more coins than the free daily refill, they ask a grown-up, and the grown-up pays on Stripe’s own page, on their own device.
