Terms of service

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and [legal entity name] (“VibeKid”, “we”). By using VibeKid you agree to them. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf and is responsible for your use.

2. The service

VibeKid builds games from words using AI, hosts them, and lets anyone play them. Games and other content are generated by AI and by users: they may be imperfect, surprising, or wrong, and they are not reviewed by a person before they appear. While a game is played, the inputs made in it and the game’s state are recorded anonymously so that the game’s maker and our coding assistant can replay a session to find bugs — see the privacy policy for what that does and does not include.

3. Accounts

Your account is a handle and a four-word passphrase — keep the passphrase secret, because it is the only way back in (a grown-up’s recovery email in Settings is the backup). We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

4. Acceptable use

Use VibeKid lawfully and kindly. Don’t put personal information — yours or anyone else’s — into prompts or games; don’t try to disrupt the service, access someone else’s account, or spend their coins; don’t make content that is unlawful, hateful, or sexual.

5. Your games

You keep whatever rights you have in the games you make (note that AI-generated material may not be protectable by copyright in some places). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and share your games — they are public by default, and you can unlist a game in its Settings. We may remove any content that breaks these terms or that we judge unsafe.

6. Moderation

Content is tagged and screened by AI, not reviewed by a person in advance. We may remove content or games at our discretion. Report anything that shouldn’t be here to hello@vibekid.ai.

7. Coins and payments

Coins are virtual credits that power making games. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not refundable except where the law requires. Purchases are made by an adult and processed by Stripe. We may change coin pricing or what coins power with notice on the site.

8. Disclaimers

VibeKid is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, or that any game will work or keep working.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You can stop using VibeKid at any time; we can suspend or end access for breaking these terms. Sections that should survive (like 5, 8, and 9) survive.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version, and material changes will be flagged on the homepage. Continuing to use VibeKid after a change means you accept it.
